Start Waves
In the Open 10K race category, a sequence of start waves will occur from 5:30 AM onwards, with short intervals between start waves to ensure ample space on the course for a more enjoyable experience. Please note that the Start Line will close at 5:50 AM. For safety reasons, participants will not be permitted to start after this time.
Applicants who had applied for and got confirmed in the Open 10K race category will get allotted start waves for race day start (15th December 2024) based on the finish timings mentioned on respective timing certificates submitted at the time of application.
Start waves*
When submitting a finish time of 10 KM distance:
Start Wave A: Finish time up to 00:59:59
Start Wave B: Finish time from 01:00:00 to 01:14:59
Start Wave C: Finish time from 01:15:00 to 01:24:59
Start Wave D: Finish time from 01:25:00 onwards and application without a timing certificate
Where submitting a finish time of Marathon (42.195 KM) distance.
Start Wave A: Finish time up to 04:35:56
Start Wave B: Finish time from 04:35:57 to 05:44:56
Start Wave C: Finish time from 05:44:57 to 06:30:56
Start Wave D: Finish time from 06:30:57 onwards and application without a timing certificate
Where submitting a finish time of 25K distance:
Start Wave A: Finish time up to 02:38:26
Start Wave B: Finish time from 02:38:27 to 03:18:03
Start Wave C: Finish time from 03:18:04 to 03:44:27
Start Wave D: Finish time from 03:44:28 onwards and application without a timing certificate
Where submitting a finish time of the Half Marathon (21.097 KM) distance:
Start Wave A: Finish time up to 01:40:13
Start Wave B: Finish time from 01:40:14 to 02:05:17
Start Wave C: Finish time from 02:05:18 to 02:30:20
Start Wave D: Finish time from 02:30:21 onwards and application without a timing certificate
Where submitting a finish time of the 5 KM distance:
Start Wave A: Finish time up to 00:28:46
Start Wave B: Finish time from 00:28:47 to 00:35:57
Start Wave C: Finish time from 00:35:58 to 00:40:45
Start Wave D: Finish time from 00:40:46 onwards and application without a timing certificate
*The start waves given above are indicative and may undergo a change, which will be communicated on the event website post-closure of all registrations.
Important: Confirmed applicants improving their timing performance post submission of application can request for changing the start wave only till 22nd November 2024, valid timing certificate needs to be provided for this on email: tsw25k@procam.in
